Thanks for visiting Morning Producer On Call. Our mission is to make your morning show the most talked about in the market.
From his years as an award winning producer, Jake Ray knows that planning and airing a successful show requires a lot of forethought, endless creativity, near-obsessive social networking, and flawless on-air execution. Jake has accomplished that at stations in Houston, Atlanta, Seattle, and New York. Now he's ready to bring it to you!
Every team needs the "sixth man".....the player put in to bring energy and focus back to the rest of the team. That's what Morning Producer On Call is designed to be for your morning show.
These days, it seems like there are only a handful of people that are dedicated to being the best Producer they can be. If your show is in need of some fresh ideas, or even just a spark...Jake has the talent, experience, and contacts to take your show to the next level.
What makes this service so special is it's personal attention. Jake will listen to your show, get to know it, and provide the elements that you feel the show is lacking. This can consist of daily ideas and brainstorming calls with your morning team, or scheduled market visits. Not all stations have the budget for a full-time morning producer, but every station needs more than a wire service with the same jokes and celebrity gossip everyone else is using. Jake gives you the expertise and contacts of a seasoned professional without the heavy price-tag.

On April Fool’s Day, Steve & Vikki were "“fired"”. But, they were replaced with Sam and Erika from the popular first season of The Apprentice. This radio stunt was covered by US Weekly, People Magazine, and was discussed by Oprah. Jake planned it, worked the contracts for the Apprentices, and cohosted the show with them.

It was both heart breaking and uplifting, and the stories told raised over two million dollars for the hospital. Jake was the executive producer for both years, overseeing the entire event.
The Jackie and Bender Show wanted to capitalize on the early success of Survivor, and needed an idea. Together, Jake and Bender created' Sewervivor'. This contest, that they hoped would last a few days, ended up lasting a full month and getting tons of press. Five contestants each lived in a port-a-potty 24 hours a day and were only allowed out for their daily challenges. There were webcams posted in the pottys so listeners could check in on them, and the pottys were placed at the entrance to a busy mall. The winner got a trip to Australia and $10,000.

Getting there from Houston required police escorts and blocked three major highways for more than an hour. The party featured music from TX acts like Storyville and Jimmie Vaughn. Jake booked all the talent, helped plan and organize the event, and was the stage manager.
